Rev. Kim Cott - Pastor

Rev. Kim Cott

Kim has a BA from the University of Florida and a Masters degree from Emory University. She was appointed by the United Methodist Church to begin River of Life UMC. She is excited to be partnering with God and this community to build a church which celebrates God's life changing love for each of us.

Pete Brower - Worship Leader

Pete Brower

Pete's education and career have been in the field of computer software engineering. However his real passions are worshiping God through contemporary Christian music, working with youth, and serving through mission and outreach ministries. Pete has been a part of the River of Life and their music ministry since 2001 and is very excited to be leading our congregation in worship.

David Ferguson - Youth Leader

Ferguson Family

I am extremely excited about working with the youth in our church and community. This is a great, diverse group of young people. My background is not formally in youth, but I have worked with young people since I graduated from Auburn University in the early 90s. God has great plans for these young men and women. I am greatful for this opportunity to be a part of His work.

Karen Strok - Children's Director

Karen Strok

Karen attended Kent State, majoring in Early Childhood Education. In addition to teaching in Sunday School, Karen spent a number of years teaching pre-school and volunteering in school class-rooms. She looks forward to the expansion of our facility and ability to serve the families in St. Johns County!

Trish Winters - Administrative Assistant

Trish Winters

Trish has enjoyed the opportunity to live in a lot of different places due to growing up in the parsonage and military moves. Her education and experience includes the health care industry, management, accounting and recruiting. She loves helping people and enjoys working in a Christian atmosphere where going to work in the morning is more than just going to a job.

Our Staff's Mission

River of Life United Methodist Church is a place for children, youth, and adults to live, learn and grow on their faith journey. All people will be welcomed and embraced.
